Counted locally · works across every AI tool you use

Know how close you are to your AI limits. Before they stop you.

Tokenez shows how much of your Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini quota you've actually burned — then adds your Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot usage into the same total. Counted locally on your machine, never from your chat content.

Add to Chrome — free Download for Windows

The extension covers Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini in the browser. The desktop app adds Claude Code, Cursor and Copilot. macOS/Linux or prefer the CLI?

The problem

Your AI usage is split across two worlds that don't talk to each other.

Camp one — CLI & IDE trackers

Tools like TokenTracker (27 tools deep) or CrossUsage track your terminal and your IDE. They're built for developers, they live in a tray icon, and they have no idea you also spend half your day in claude.ai or ChatGPT in a browser tab.

Camp two — browser extensions

Extensions like Token Lens watch claude.ai, ChatGPT, and Gemini beautifully — and go completely blind the moment you open Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.

Neither camp can tell you the actual number — how much AI you used, full stop, everywhere. Tokenez is the bridge between both worlds, in one local dashboard.

How it stacks up

One dashboard that actually covers both.

Tokenez CLI / IDE trackers Browser extensions
Browser AI chats (Claude.ai, ChatGPT, Gemini)
IDEs & CLIs (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Antigravity, Windsurf)
One unified total across both
Exact-vs-estimated accuracy badge per event
Quota-% gauges kept separate from token volume rarely
Shareable "flex card"
Local capture, synced to your account across devices variesvaries

Comparisons reflect each product's publicly stated scope as of 2026.

Exact vs. estimated

Every event is labeled, never blended.

Claude's API hands us exact input/output counts straight off the stream. Some platforms don't expose that — so we estimate with a real tokenizer and say so, every time, right on the row. No dashboard silently averages the two into a number that looks more precise than it is.

Claude Code 116,432 in · 85 out exact
claude.ai 4,220 in · 610 out est
