1. 100% Local Architecture

Tokenez is built on a fundamental privacy-first principle: we have no backend servers.

All token processing, tracking, and analytics happen exclusively on your local device.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your chat logs.
• We do not send any personal information to external servers.
• We do not track your usage across websites other than the specific AI platforms you grant permission for (e.g., Claude.ai, ChatGPT.com).

3. How We Process Data

Tokenez intercepts network requests strictly to calculate the size (in tokens) of your inputs and outputs. Once the calculation is complete, the numerical token counts are saved locally (browser storage and/or your local bridge store). The underlying chat text is immediately discarded from memory.

4. Your Rights

Because you own your data and it never leaves your machine, you have complete control. You can clear all tracked stats instantly via the Tokenez dashboard or by clearing your browser data.
